Vanitha Sankaran holds an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Antioch University, where she received the Eloise Klein Healy scholarship. Her short stories have been published in numerous journals, such as Mindprints, FUTURES, Prose Ax, and The Midnight Mind, serialized in the newspaper The San Francisco Call, and have appeared on-line in venues such as The Green Tricycle, The Paumanok Review, The Copperfield Review, and The Dead Mule. She is currently at work on a second novel, set in ancient India.
