Paul Schmidtberger was born and raised on Schooley’s Mountain, New Jersey, and currently lives in Paris. He graduated from Yale College with a degree in East Asian Studies and earned his law degree from Stanford University. Admitted to the California State Bar, he clerked for the United States District Court in San Francisco prior to entering private practice where he specialized in litigation and international arbitration. DESIGN FLAWS OF THE HUMAN CONDITION is his debut novel.
